Acer has started to launch more Android phones. The company just launched Liquid e, just a few months after the previous Liquid was launched. The Liquid e is just like the previous Liquid, but with several improvements. Acer claims that Liquid e is the best smartphone for multimedia, web browsing, and social media.

The main improvement of Liquid e compared to the previous Liquid is that the onboard operating system of Liquid e is using Android 2.1 (also known as the Eclair), while the previous Liquid uses Android 1.6. Because it uses the latest version of Android, the web browser is also updated with more features. However, the Snapdragon processor in this phone is still underclocked to 768MHz, just like the previous Liquid. Smartphone experts don't know exactly why Acer decide to still underclock the CPU in Liquid E to only 768MHz, but some opinions suggest that it is probably a way to get longer battery life.

The most visible difference between Acer Liquid e and the previous Acer Liquid would be the layout of the keyboard. When we look at the home screen, we can see that the Liquid e is using five home screens by default. This allows the users to install applications easily. The phone also provide Quick Contact feature that allows the users to switch between address book and social network application easily. Acer Liquid E uses high definition 3.5" WVGA capacitive touch screen. But this phone is not only offering high definition graphics, it is also offering high quality video playback, smooth video and music streaming, gaming, and web surfing.

Acer has launched the Acer Aspire One 532G. Calif,SANTA CLARA., 2006 july 26 - Intel Corporation today unveiled five new products in the Dual-Core Intel Itanium 2 Processor 9000 series. Previously codenamed "Montecito," the new processors are designed for the most sophisticated high-end computing platforms in the world. They double the performance and lower energy requirements, improving performance per watt by 2.5 times compared to existing, single-core versions. All server-maker members of the Itanium Solutions Alliance (ISA) will launch new Dual-Core Intel Itanium 2 Processor 9000 series-based products.

The flagship 9050 model features two complete processing cores and nearly triples the cache or memory reservoir versus Intel's previous generation. It also can execute four instructions or threads per processor enhanced by Intel's Hyper-Threading Technology (HT Technology).

The new Dual-Core Itanium 2 processors represent the world's most intricate product design to date with more than 1.7 billion transistors. This allows Intel designers to deliver new features to the Itanium processor family that create robust virtualization capabilities, enhanced cache reliability and other mainframe-like capabilities.

Unlike products from the remaining RISC vendors, the Dual-Core Intel Itanium 2 Processor 9000 series offers end-user freedom through a broad choice of software with more than 8,000 applications in production. Itanium processor-based servers and high-performance computing (HPC) systems are unique in the industry. HP Envy 14 and Envy 17 First AMD based 3D Notebooks

HP has released the new machines including the 14.5-inch HP Envy 14 Beats Edition and 17.3-inch HP Envy 17 3D. First up is the new Envy 14 Beats Edition, which has a totally different red an black design than the rest of the Envy line just like the previous Envy 15 Beats. It even has a red, backlit keyboard. Appropriately, it comes with Beats audio hardware bult-in but also comes packed with Beats Solo in-ear headphones.

HP is more detailed with specs on the smaller notebook and gives it dual Core i5-460M chips between 2.53GHz and 2.8GHz, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 video card, up to 8GB of memory, 640GB HDD, Gigabit LAN, 802.11bgn WiFi, HDMI output. And the Envy 14 Beats Edition keep going strong for up to 6 hours with a standard battery, or amp it up with the optional HP Slim Fit Extended-Life Battery for up to 13.75 hours.It will start at $1249, this notebook is bit too pricey.

And the Envy 17 3D, as HP's first real 3D notebook, it has a 17.3-inch Ultra BrightView display and AMD Mobility Radeon HD graphics to power it.

To support 3D video and gaming, it will ship with active shutter glasses.But the biggest news is that it will support 3DBlu-ray discs! So, get ready to watch Avatar and other titles without having to visit 3D theaters.

The Envy 17 3D will feature Core i7 CPU, AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 graphics, up to 2TB of HDD space, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.

Previews of the Envy 17, particularly the 3D content,have been really positive and even though the Envy 17 3D will be priced upwards of $2000, it should be a notebook worth to buy.

Tcoming soon for Acer’s Latest Series of All-In-One PC’s to Hit European Market

The biggest Taiwanese computer manufacturer Acer has announced that they're about to release their latest All-In-One (AIO) computer PC products to the global market. The next PC product will be designed with a multi-touch display and is made to meet the demands of the market that requires computer with more advanced systems and features. Acer is planned to be distributed in UK in August this year.

There are two series of Acer's AIO series which are about to be released in the summer the Acer Aspire Z5700 and Z5710. Both of these series come with Intel Core from various series such as Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and also available in RAM capacity of up to 8GB. It has a very huge storage space which is up to 2 TB. Furthermore optional storage space is also available in 160 GB SSD although it's a bit more expensive but it might worth it since SSD is more durable than the traditional HDD storagethat commonly used in most PC's. Both Acer AIO series have optional graphic options the one that uses 1GB or 512 MB Nvidia Gforce GPU chip. However, both are quite enough and applicable for Z5700 and Z5710 to perform normal computing operations.

Both Z5700 and Z5710 also come in similar model and design since both also come in aluminum case and has full display screen monitor. Since these Acer series features a multi-touch display therefore they're supported by Touch Portal navigation for better results and performance. It also features the Mutligadget feature to allow you having more freedom to access any applications. Another feature is also known touch-enabled application to allow users using the multimedia entertainment easily. Additional memory card or other optical drives are welcomed in these PCs. In addition, TV tuner is also available to allow users getting direct access to the television channels.
